speeds, which gives the PistenBully 600 E+ a completely new driving feel with unbelievable thrust from a standing start.

High energy efficiency and energy recovery on the downhill rides
The constant operation of the diesel engine in the optimum speed range makes it extremely efficient and economical. The intelligent energy management ensures that energy produced on the downhill rides flows directly back into the drive for the snow tiller. The 6-cylinder in-line engine from Mercedes-Benz has a capacity of 12.82 liters and delivers 295 kW (400 hp). It is supplemented by electric power units of two generators, drive motors and a tiller drive. The engine also as a turbocharger and intercooling with electronically controlled unit injectors.

And a PistenBully 300 GreenTech has all these advantages too: Its wide X-track chains ensure it has no problems moving forwards, allow it to build higher and steeper silo superstructures and to compact the silage material using the weight of the vehicle and the chain design – much better than a wheeled vehicle could manage. By repeatedly driving over an area with track`s running wheels, a shudder effect is created which compacts the silage material even more, helping to prepare this perfectly for storage. Another advantage: The PistenBully 300 GreenTech low centre of gravity allows it to drive along at an angle, preventing it from sliding off or toppling over.

Application:

PistenBully 300 GreenTech are ideally suited for the harvesting of silage in biogas plants or for service supply agencies. Thanks to the front-mounted body swap system, which comes as standard, it is possible to attach various different mowing and mulching units. There is also an option to have the PistenBully 300 GreenTech fitted with a front or rear 3-point suspension bracket. This, coupled with a power take-off shaft drive, allow additional attachment units to be employed for both agricultural and co-operative purposes.
